Caregiver Vetting
Every caregiver goes through a detailed screening process before joining our team to ensure the safety and peace of mind of the families we serve. This includes:
Verifying 14 personal and professional references
A nationwide FBI background check
A screening through the Caregiver Background Check Bureau
DMV driving record review
Drug testing
Verification with the Home Care Aide registry
Once hired, our caregivers are bonded and covered by workers’ compensation insurance to protect both the caregiver and client during every visit.
Caregiver Training & Education
Training is at the heart of what we do. Each caregiver completes a full-day orientation and comprehensive internal training, along with several hours of state-required instruction. Topics include:
Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental ADLs
Preventing elder abuse
Patient rights and safety
Proper body mechanics
Transportation safety
